This is an interesting one from the Calgary Herald. I don't think much of it. What do you think?
I love this next one -- Boomers Working For Generation X as published in Business Week. Enjoy!
Some obscure something or other called the HeraldNet brings us Gen X and Y=Gardening Dunderheads.
I'm liking this one a lot! Gen X Shakes Up Presidential Election. Yipee! The postscript reads: "About Generation X:Now one of the most populous generations, Gen X is, according to Fishman's research, a pivotal generation that has endured divorce, one-parent families, step-families, working parents, latch-key lives, violence on television, violence in the streets, the results of a drug culture, and a breaking down of traditional values and sources of comfort."
This is worth checking out for the graphic alone: a blog post in the Wall Street Journal's Wealth Report. The Slacker Generation May Be More Generous than The Greatest Generation.
OK. I admit it. I watched 90210. Even though my professional career had already started; I was married and a college graduate. I only watched the first two seasons though. Afterawhile, Luke started looking older than me. So, now I have to admit that I am really looking foward to 90210's return. Read more than you ever wanted to know about Shannen Doherty here.
I love the fact that in this article the Glasgow Daily Records calls Tom Cruise's Risky Business "Generation X."
Over six years ago, when Rent was only half way through its 12-year run, I went to see the Broadway show (touring in Oklahoma City). According to this article, Rent introduced Generation X to live theater. I will always regard Rent as more than live theater, though, and GenX responded to it because we came of age with AIDS. We saw something our kids will probably never see in the U.S. -- those telltale sores on people suffering from AIDS in the early 90s before the amazing drugs that are available today helped slow down the dreadful disease. The San Jose Mercury News also called it the "iconic Gen-X musical."

I missed the first couple of episodes of the new 90210; I'm really only interested because of the returning old folks, lol. I will try to catch it online, I think.
