Have you heard of the blog, Cake Wrecks? I submitted my cake wreck a couples months ago, but I don't think they thought it was a big enough disaster.
In case it isn't readily apparent to you, this is Sponge Bob Square Pants. I made this for Sully's 2nd Birthday Party.
Now, I know what you're thinking, but you're dead wrong. I DID THIS ALL BY MYSELF. Nobody, and I do mean nobody, helped me create this two-layer train, I mean cake, wreck. I'm especially fond of my use of pipe cleaners.

I think they are just inundated with photos, don't you? Maybe it has to fit a certain category. You may well see it yet.
Good job though, Jen. Nice work!
It's the little people you have to please and it doesn't look like anyone's too upset, does it?

Sponge Bob Messy Pants? You ment to do that..right? So you can't decorate a cake...you write a good blog.
@poetikat - i can't believe how many horrid cakes there are out there. they have one posted right now of a baby around a bubble cake thing sitting in an oven. It's so awful!
@idabel - wow. it's monday morning before 7 a.m. and i've already had my best laugh of the day!
A red velvet Spong Bob cake! I love it, lol. Yep, it's a wreck, but charmingly so.
I need to scan pics of my Teletubbies Land cake that I made for my daughter's 1st birthday...horrible!
I loved hearing from you today; I just posted a protected post...you'll have to sign in with your Xanga account to see it.
Also like the new blog colors you've got going.
It's funny about facebook; I've moved around a lot and have both ends of the political spectrum and everything in-between represented on my Friends list. I try to avoid the political altogether there. (Though i did post the photo of my daughter with Palin...not without some trepidation!) :-)
Doesn't look that bad. Better than what I could. Regardless, I'm sure Sully loved it.
This is actually pretty cool. Cake wrecks is hilarious...I always go there when I need a good laugh!
I like it!
JUST REMEMBER IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE PROS FOR CAKE WRECKS. MOMS DOING THEIR BEST DON'T USUALLY GET PICKED ON.
I, on the other hand, would be delighted to pick on that cake.
