Happy 79th Birthday, Dad! Meet me in Luckenbach for a soda pop.
How happy is the blameless vestal's lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd;

Great playlist!
So that's where that movie title came from! I haven't seen the film.
Happy Birthday to your Dad. Mine's is coming up soon too.
I hope you have some sweet moments of memories, Jen.

P.S. Your dad had great taste in music! I love "Rose Garden" and "I Fall To Pieces".
I may have to do the same - either on St. Patrick's Day, or on April 2nd.

Jen-
Dad had a wonderful birthday. He would be honored that you had a Playlist for him.

@Kat - Yes! That is where that title came from. For a long time I followed a blog on the Open Diary - when blogging was so new - "Meet Me in Montauk" From the same movie. I think that is the only known reference. My father was a fan of Pope's poem and the story of Eloise and Abelard. He wrote a poemt about them himself, but I can't find. You know he was quite a poet, right?
@John - Thank you! Coming from you, that is a compliment!
@Anon - Thanks, ma! XOXO
I loved the playlist! Thanks for that. You chose the songs well; Dad has great taste in MUSIC.
@Billy - Thank you. Coming from you, it means a lot. I was glad I remembered how much he liked Lefty F. =(
