Last night, Robert and I attended the First Friday art exhibit at the JRB Art Gallery in Oklahoma City's Paseo Arts District. (It's really swell of the kids to let us out of the house once in awhile.)

We attend these openings every chance we get. Truly, they are a gift to the Oklahoma City community, and last night's exhibit of Timothy Chapman, Kim Camp, Paul Medina and Tracy Harris was one of the very best I've ever seen at this gallery.

I love the shadows the artwork creates!

That's some cool looking artwork-- looks like a fun outing.
I love the purple door image - Robert is a work of art in his own right :) le xoxoxo
Looks like a great exhibit. Milwaukee has Gallery Night every three months, art galleries all over the city stay open to show the work of local artists. Bars, restaurants and boutiques also get into the act. I go all the time with my friends and we have so much fun.
And I'm so glad the kids let you and your hubby have a date night.
It sure looks like fun. The pictures were great. Way back when I used to live close to Paseo during the oil bust in the 80's. It was cool back then and apparently still cool now.
I LOVE these photographs, Jen. Great job. By the way, I am also getting excited for our Oklahoma trip. We're going to have a great connection.
Sorry to have missed it, just got back today. You are a fantastic photographer - those images of Robert are frame-worthy. Can't believe that he's wearing a coat in May!!!
@jennifer k - i need to google that. i love the idea of our entire city having a gallery night. that would be so wonderful. if i had more time, i'd volunteer for the arts. i truly feel these talents are God-given and not as celebrated by mass society as much as they should be. thanks for sharing about milwaukee. i wish i could go out with you and your friends some gallery night!!
@Barry - it won't be long now! i can't wait to meet you guys!
@TR - i always doubt myself and then i read your generous comments. =) YOU WERE MISSED!!!
@le - he matched the building and we didn't even plan it. hahahaha!
your hubby is so handsome!
can't wait to have dinner with you guys this week!
Hey Jen,
I love how much you love your husband and how you let it show on your blog. That reminds me of me with Milk Man. :)
Great pictures Jen!
