I think the term "Generation X" as a pejorative is dying. The reason is the name of the generation that follows, Generation Y, is not a pejorative. Neither is Generation Z, the generation that follows Gen Y.
"Generation Y" and "Generation Z" are not regarded as disparaging terms as was "Generation X." As these younger generations age and mature, they will have little recollection of the phrase, Generation X as a pejorative. I wonder how this might help abolish lingering, negative stereotypes of Generation X, none of which were very accurate anyway.
What do you think? I've heard Generation Z called other things, and Gen Y is sometimes referred to as Millennials, but Gen Z is just such a cool name! I expect it to stick. (Wikipedia seems to like it.) And, Millennial? Nobody remembers it has two Ls AND two Ns.

They are all cooler than "Baby Boomers." I hate that! But that's better than "Generation W"
At work we are hiring lots of people out of college and we are getting a little generational difference training. Some of my fellow old farts are dismissive of the Y's.
I'm trying to be nice to them since I figure I'll be working for one of them one of these days.
Nice post & nice blog. I love both.
