This Friday, I will start a new feature highlighting my top 5 favorite blog posts of the week from around the Blogosphere. I often come across great posts I want to share, but up until now, I was not sure how I wanted to go about doing it, especially since most of the posts have nothing to do with the theme of this blog.
The majority of these posts will have been written by bloggers featured on my blog roll, which can now be linked to via the horizontal navigation bar just below my masthead (gen x in hot pink and other blogs in blue). I will also feature posts from bloggers not on my blog roll from time to time, so I welcome your suggestions via email, jenx67[at]cox[dot]net.

Yay comments are back! Wanted to say this a great idea, you will expose us to other great blogs, I love recommendations by people I think are great - word of mouth is the best. Also, I love that photo, just gorgeous!

I think is it a great idea highlighting your favourite blog posts each week. There are just so many insightful, delightful bloggers, I'll look forward to checking back on Friday.

jenX, you probably won't see my comment on TheLostOgle.com's story on I Love This Bar & Grill, so I thought I would post here. That wasn't an interview with Toby Keith you saw. He doesn't have an ex wife. That was likely Trace Adkins who was shot at by his ex wife. And it's unlikely that Toby made the comments about the President, as he's a long-time democrat who has spoken very highly of Obama.

@ANDI - Thanks for letting me know about that. I have no idea how that happened. I've only disabled comments ONCE on this blog and it was nearly a year ago. =/ This is building on your great idea from last week.
@PEG- Thank you - That navigation was the easiest thing to do. I'd followed numerous directions in the past for how to do it. In the end it was just a few tweaks in the code and then adding the gadget. Thanks for noticing! I've toyed with it a lot!
