if it's not alexa it's zemanta driving me crazy

From time to time I get offers from Pay Per Post version 4. I rarely pursue them because most of them contain subject matter that is a stretch for my blog. But, today I received one that sounded great. It's for a YouTube contest and the category was education. Write 100 words and make $8. The problem is every single time I try to login, 10,000 Alexa toolbars open. (Alexa is a site that assigns ranks to Web sites. Advertisers rely heavily on the Alexa score when dolling out ad dollars.)

So, I wish I knew what the problem was. It could be with Pay Per Post. I've had problems logging into this site in the past when I didn't have the Alexa toolbar installed.

On a positive note, I noticed today that Alexa is now reporting yesterday's rank. I love that, mostly because I never know what 7-day, 30-day or three-month period of time Alexa is reporting. Yesterday is pretty clear.

Now, to Zemanta. I love this plugin Blogger gave us for their 10th birthday. But, oh my gosh. If you even SLIGHTLY move the mouse while the page is loading, Blogger freezes and I have to close the window and login again. This can happen several times while blogging and it makes me crazy!

That's it. The Alexa to Zemanta of blogging.
