I was a little worried when I took this quiz from the Pew Research Center,
How Millennial Are You? I'm happy to report that I am literally and quizzically Generation X. Ha! I scored a whopping 33. I think this makes me a Gen Xer by the skin of my teeth. Heresy!!! If you score a 73 you're Gen Y; an 11, you're a Boomer; a 4, a Silent. Have fun!

That's an interesting quiz. I was born in 1964 but I scored a 7, so it seems as though I've turned into my parents.
Although my responses to a couple of questions are skewed by non-generational factors, I guess. I'm good friends with a state senator so I've been in contact with him quite often over the last year, and as a pastor I'm pretty sure I ought to consider living a religious life very important ;-)
Changing those answers barely budges my score, though, so I guess I'll remain a stranger in a strange cohort.
I scored 52. Solid Gen Xer.
31 here. I'm about to lose my Boomer credentials but I don't think the Xer's will have me. I'll be cast adrift.
I got a 76 but I think that’s because of how much I text (which compared to others that I know is not that much), but I know that I am solidly a member of Generation X.
On a related generational topic…I did a post about that film Generation Zero that you posted on and someone left a comment about the breakdown of generations and stated that there was now considered a new generation in-between the Baby Boomers and Gen X, called Generation Jones. Here’s how some see the generations lining up now –
Baby Boom GENERATION: 1942-1953
Generation Jones: 1954-1965
Generation X: 1966-1978
Generation Y/Millennials: 1979-1993
This was the first that I’d heard of Generation Jones but apparently some of the theory is that the generations are getting smaller because society is moving so much faster. That actually makes some sense.
I AM a BOOMER! Scored 19....right in the middle!!!! No shock here...

48! Gen-X!
Latecomer, but X nonetheless. :-)
Generation Jones!? I googled it and there it is, thousands of entries. I'd never heard of it before.
Do you see what you've unleashed GenX Jen?
Microgenerations. Every day is going to be its own generation.
I was born in '61- A Generation Joneser (technically at the end of the Boomers). I scored a 69. What does that mean?
I scored a 23 which makes me, born in 1970, totally behind? What's new?
a solid 59. I was actually surprised I was that close to the millenials, given that I have no tattoos and text less than 10 times per day. ;-)
Ack! I scored an 82....am I booted out of the club?
i still don't get how having a tattoo and a facebook page lumps me in with the millennials. trust me - i go to law school with these people. i am NOT in their generation...
I was born in 1974 and I scored 35 - but i think it gets skewed by the religious question - or perhaps that's a British cultural thing, i don't know
