Raspberry red! Lemon yellow! Orange orange!
Cereal mascots were a staple of the Gen X Saturday morning cartoon scene. From the Lucky Charms Leprechaun to Dig 'Em, I think I was just as attached to cereal stars as I was to Scooby and Shaggy.
Even more interesting, I thought the characters knew each other IRL (in real life) or had connections to other elements of pop culture. For example, the little blue and pink people in the Life board game
I know how weird all this sounds now, but this is how the mind of a child works. I thought Fat Albert knew J.J.
What about you? Did you mix up or explain away your pop icons?
The following are three different Trix commercials from three different decades. In each one, Silly Rabbit disguises himself as a different character so he can run away with the cereal. I don't think he ever disguised himself as the Easter bunny though. Hippity Hop, folks. Easter's on its way!

It has always bothered me that there aren't different words for the flavor and color orange. "orange, orange" That's just silly.
Sugar Bear and Huggy Bear related? No, they were the same person. I mean, have you ever seen them together? Think about it.
