sea world spring break 2010

I've been out of town the last few days. I took the kids to Sea World in San Antonio, Texas to celebrate Juliette's Spring Break from school. The following two pictures capture the rollercoaster of emotions every family goes through on a vacation.

Despite, the stress involved in trying to manage three children in a sea-world of people, I am grateful for this special time with my children. I now have a new nickname: Shamu Mommy. Unfortunately, Shamu Daddy wasn't able to make the trip. We really missed you, Robert!

I had my camera out to take pictures of Big Sissy Juliette and Big Brother Sully riding the Shamu Express when I turned around and caught the Super Bridgy crying big, hearbreaker tears because she was too little to go on the kiddie roller coaster. It'll be there next year, Super Bridgy, but Mommy does understand these things.

I was the youngest of four, and while being the youngest has its challenges, being the oldest is hard, too. Juliette had to go on some rides alone, because I had to watch the little ones. I really missed riding Journey to Atlantis with you, Ju.

This picture was taken on Day 2 of our trip. Like I said, emotions rise and fall. I wish we could have seen a picture of our faces when we got soaked with salt water while watching Shamu slap his tail on the water. I look forward to sharing more about our trip with you very soon!

So glad you were able to make this trip. These are time for "Memories in the Making."

I am so happy you had a safe trip there and back. I missed you and the kids.
