If you've been reading this blog awhile, then you know how much I love fall and Halloween. I become very domestic this time of year. I start decorating the house for each autumn holiday and I start stocking up on cranberry sauce and canned pumpkin. I especially love decorating the house for Halloween and I try to mix it up a little different from year to year. This year, in honor of Sully's love for his stuffed candy corn man, I wrapped the tree in our front yard with lights to resemble a candy corn (white, orange, yellow lights in that order).
Robert doesn't know it yet, but I'm stealing the Home Depot gift card out of his wallet - the one with the remaining $100 on it from his birthday in June and combining it with online coupons for Home Depot and buying more, more, more Halloweenie schtuff! (I went here to look for savings on Halloween costumes.)
Also, this year, I am ordering a poster-size print of the kids in their Halloween costumes and hanging it above the fireplace mantel. I also found some very cool (and cheap!) posters on Cafe Press featuring vintage Halloween images as well as an amazing collection of Halloween postcards. Cafe Press also has a cool collection of custom tshirts and movie posters. I luv this site, but not as much as I luv Halloween!

I love Halloween. You can decorate all you want but you don't have to buy people stuff or worry about spending it alone and all the stores stay open.
