Come on. Really? I distrust large corporations, but it has nothing to do with the Challenger disaster. It has more to do with the dozens of times I’ve seen big business do unethical and immoral things to the people who work for them and to their customers. It’s because a company decided the man who had worked there for 45 years was overpaid and so they let him go three years before retirement. It’s the oil company who decided it was better to dupe me into investing in their worthless stocks than to respect me enough to tell me the truth. It’s the government that is watching the hundreds of thousands of dollars that I have put into social security disappear far sooner than I’ll ever be able to make use of it. The Challenger? Come on. Don’t look for zebras when you are surrounded by horses.
