Stephen Wildish is a freelance graphic designer from the U.K. whose movie and film alphabet posters have made the rounds on blogs and social networking sites. He began creating these late last year and recently added comedy, adaptation and super hero alphabet movies to the collection.

I love these because they highlight the movie tastes of several generations of Americans, including Gen X. I’ve highlighted a favorite movie from each list. What are you favorites?

    I forgot to share my favorites: 2000 – E also!  90’s – B also! 80’s – D for Dirty Dancing.  70’s – M for Mad Max or R for Rocky. 60’s – P for Planet of the Apes. 50′ – M for Mon Oncle (of course!).
