Mom’s Birthday: 33, 45, 78 and The Rapid Revolutions of the Years

I celebrated my 45th birthday with Black Cow root beer float at Kaiser’s soda fountain in Oklahoma City. I highly recommend it!

Tomorrow is my mom’s 78th birthday! Happy Birthday, Mom! I look forward to spending time with you. You’re a wonderful mom and I’m glad you’ve been with me all these years!

When I was a kid I always thought it was so cool that I was born so close to my mom’s birthday. Interestingly, Juliette, my firstborn, was originally due on my birthday, but she came early.

33, 45, 78 | Numbers, Irony and Coincidence

There are a lot of ironic and/or coincidental numbers in my life. What about you? For example, the last three places I’ve lived have the number 13 in the address in one form or another. Ack!

And, check this out. My mom was 33 the day I was born. And, in the same year I turn 45, she turns 78, and if these numbers in quick succession don’t get you thinking about vinyl records and RPM, you’re probably a generation or two behind Generation X.

I took the above picture of my mom at the Oklahoma City St. Patrick’s Day parade in 2011. I think she looks adorable and it’s one of my all-time favorite pictures of her.

Happy Birthday, Mom!

There are numbers I like, but I haven’t studied a pattern, it could exist but I am not aware of it!
