Six Generations of Oscar Nominees

The 85th Annual Oscars air tonight at 7 p.m. EST on ABC.Below is an infographic from Celebrity Buzz that highlights six generations of nominees: Greatest Generation (1901 to 1924); The Silent Generation (1925 to 1945); Baby Boomers (1956 to 1960); Generation X (1961 to 1981); Generation Y (1982 to 1999); and Generation Z (2000 to Present).

Included are those born in the 20s, 30s, 40s all the way up to Quvenzhané Wallis who was born in 2004. Who are you rooting for? I’m hopeful for Anne Hathaway. I thought she deserved an Oscar nomination for One Day, a Generation X film I blogged about last year.

I think they have a typo; I’m pretty sure that Hoffman isn’t 69 years old and that he wasn’t born in 1943.

You know if the little Wallis girl had won the name effect would have been interesting to watch.
