Last night, there was an invasion of prom-goers downtown, scores of millennials coming-of-age. Rising up out of the glittery sea of mint-green strapless dresses and bejeweled side buns was a young woman in jeans and a baseball shirt walking happily down the street. I called out to her, “Beyonce.” She must have known she was a Beyonce lookalike, the best Beyonce doppelganger.
And, she immediately turned to see who it was, and with a big smile on her face, she graciously posed for my camera. Some people seem destined for greatness
