Generation Z Twitter Chat, Tuesdays at 8 p.m. CDT
Join me on June 10, for an online discussion about Generation Z via Twitter. The hashtag for the weekly chat event is #GenZChat.
Generation Z, sometimes called the Homeland Generation or Digital Natives, is the 15th generation of Americans. It follows Gen Y (often referred to as the Millennial Generation). Gen Zs are primarily the sons and daughters of Generation X, but some Gen Zs have Gen Y parents.
What are the years for Generation Z?
The length of a generation is typically between 20 and 30 years. That is the typical span of time between the birth of a human being and his or her offspring.
The years for Generation Z begin anywhere from 1995 to 2000 and continue through present day, 2014 and even beyond. The years for all generations are subjective. Experts always have different opinions about the years.

BONUS: Generation Z Reacts To 1990s Internet
I love the Kids React video series. Here’s the latest episode, posted on June 1. The commercials about the Internet are pretty funny. It’s hard to believe we’ve come so far in such a short amount of time.
