Happy Friday! Another week has come and gone.
It’s been an eventful week for our family. After many years of searching and hoping, we found Robert’s brother Guy! We are so grateful. Hopefully, we’ll be making a trip out to Stockton very soon.
Tonight, we’re getting Mexican takeout. Bridgette has swimmer’s ear and Sullivan has a sinus infection, so we’re staying in. Juliette returns home on Monday. That will start the two-week countdown until school starts. The summer has zipped right by.
Here are the latest round-up of news stories featuring family, generations, demography, economics, pop culture and other interesting stuff. Enjoy!

Fight Club Sequel
Fight Club gets a sequel, but don’t get your hopes up too high. It’s a comic book series!
The Future of Country Music. For real.
I watched every video in this story by Nashville journalist Jordan Taylor Sloan: The 9 Real Country Music Stars of Our Generation. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it especially Nikki Lane, Caitlin Rose and Cale Tyson. Oh, and Andrew Combs and Kelsey Waldon and Caroline Spence. In terms of generations, this is a mix of young Gen Y and older Generation X.

I love the word KODAK. I love the packaging, the signs. Kodak, Kodachrome, Kodak Ektachrome, Kodak Sold Here. A modern word for a modern world that we were never going to forget. Now photography as we knew it is more or less extinct. Kodak, once such a modern word is the stuff of antiquity.
