Next year, 2015, will mark the halfway point in what has been called by economists as an astounding transformation. By 2060, children will be no more numerous than any other age group. This trend began in 1970 with the birth of mid-wave Gen-Xers. By broadest definition, Generation X was born between 1961 and 1981. Our generation follows the Baby Boomer generation. After Generation X comes the Millennial Generation, often referred to as Gen Y.
