Here’s Cheer Bear from 1983 to kick off another fun series of vintage Halloween pics from the Gen X childhood. It must have been cold that Trick-or-Treat night because Cheer Bear is wearing a fluffy coat underneath her costume.
Also, we have Disco girl complete with leg warmers and some kind of record stuck to her back. Awesome. We always went around with records stuck to our backs back in the day. Also, please note her more than awesome plastic charm necklace!
In case you don’t remember, Cheer Bear was one of the 10 original Care Bears who debuted in 1982 as a character on American Greetings cards. Ever since, she has been featured in nearly every incarnation of the franchise.
Be sure to check back every day in October to see more vintage Halloween pics from the Gen X childhood!
