If you could keep only one thing you own, what would it be? Allstate Insurance Company asked more than 1,000 U.S. adults about their belongings and how they feel about them. They found that people valued their homes most of all, followed by personal keepsakes such as family photos and scrapbooks, and personal tech such as computers and smartphones.
The survey revealed that in many cases, people’s age determined how they ranked their possessions. Gen-Xers, it turns out, valued their belongings differently than Millennials and Baby Boomers. Here’s what they found when we took a closer look at the generations.
