The photos were taken by retired math and science teacher Bill Fasulo, 69, who chronicled the school years of Generation X like no other photographer ? I’ve discovered. He took hundreds of high-quality pictures of Gen-Xers in the classroom and schoolyard during a time snapshot (candid, vernacular) photography was really suffering from super cheap cameras and poor processing. As such, his photographs have a timeless quality to them and provide an exceptional record of the #GenX childhood.
Here are some of his photos from Halloween ? 1979. Fasulo retired from teaching in 2007, the same year he was honored as Teacher of the Year. ?
