Lalaloopsy Party

The other day we celebrated Bridgy’s birthday with a Lalaloopsy party. I’m not exactly the craftiest person around, but it’s important to me to do stuff for my kids myself. =0
Lalaloopsy Party Favors, Cupcake Toppers

We had the party at our house with her little friends from school. They swam in a kiddy pool and jumped on the trampoline. I like at-home parties, even if they are a ton more work.

My oldest daughter Juliette made all the cupcakes. Yea!
I ordered cupcake toppers from a vendor on Etsy, Amanda, a.k.a. SushiDolli. They were downloadable. I had them printed at Quik Print. Sullivan helped me cut them out. =0

Here are some color sheets I found online. I had them printed as 12×18 posters for the kids to decorate and then promptly forgot all about them. You can find more cool color sheets on Nick Jr.

Boy Lalaloopsy are hard to find. I think there are only three boy dolls to date.
Turn Around, Lalaloopsy
Here’s a super sweet picture of my big 6-year-old in her Lalaloopsy dress from Target. She wore it only long enough for me to take pictures.

From Harry Belafonte, Malvina Reynolds and Alan Greene:
Where are you going, my little one, little one,
Where are you going, my baby, my own?
Turn around and you’re two,
Turn around and you’re four,
Turn around and you’re a young girl going out of my door.
Turn around, turn around,
Turn around and you’re a young girl going out of my door.
Here’s a VINE I made of her party stuff, and here’s another VINE featuring all of Bridgy’s Lalaloopsy’s watching TV.
If you have ideas for a Lalaloopsy party, please leave them in the comments section. Provide links to cool Lalaloopsy party stuff if you can. I hope this isn’t our last Lalaloopsy Party before my Super Bridgy grows up and starts driving a car!
