My Son Wore a Homemade Porcupine Costume for Halloween

My son wore a homemade porcupine costume for Halloween. It was so fun making it and making him happy!

Here’s a picture of him and his younger sister visiting one of my favorite houses on our street. I love the white stucco and blue trim. It always looks great in fall with the autumn garland and orange pumpkins.

Sullivan loves wild animals so much and I think he made a great choice for his costume this year! I had no idea how I was going to pull it off, but I found instructions online. I only burned myself with the hot glue gun 1,000 times, but hey, anything for my boy.

Bridgy went as Cleopatra during the school parade. Later, she changed into Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Juliette went as an OKC Thunder basketball player. We had a wonderful Halloween and have officially kicked off the holiday season!

Here’s a better picture of Sullivan as a porcupine. Trick-or-Treat, smell my quills…

I love that! We were super boring and I guess I went as a couch potato, think I pulled it off. The porcupine is incredible. Good for you Jen !

This is my first porcupine experience – what a great costume! Dorothy looked pretty darn cute, too!

Cool costume! I did a double-take when I first saw the picture because I thought he had a Nike swoosh on his mask 😉
