It’s time for another round of Gen X headlines, blog posts, tweets and poetry. Except no poetry. Nobody ever writes any poems about Generation X. Around here, we call this regular series the Blue Plate Special, but since we’re approaching rolling black out season in America, let’s think of this post as more like a […]
Top News Stories About Generation X
This blog features links to popular Gen-X news stories as well as unseen gems. Posts in this category date back to 2008 when I first began writing about Gen-Xers. Back then, very little was being written about the 13th Generation of Americans originally dubbed Baby Busters. Over the years, more and more stories have been written about Generation X. I don't capture these links on the blog to the degree I once did, but I do share all current Gen-X news in the Facebook community.
Early posts, primarily between 2008 and 2013, linked to blog posts about Generation X. Many of those blogs are no longer active, however, I was able to capture some great excerpts and quotes.
There are 60 posts filed under "Gen-X News." I have tried not to double-label those posts with the broader and more generic label, Generation X. There are nearly 300 additional posts filed under that category.

Gen-X News: Coping With Middle Age, The Oregon Trail
The hallmark of this blog has always been an unfolding of the Generation X narrative. Part of my intention is to maintain a tiny space on the Internet where evidence of Gen X society can be preserved — at least for as long as the links remain unbroken. This is a way to give voice […]

Let’s kick off the Blue Plate Special with a new holiday song, Text Me Merry Christmas.
