As a result I don&#39;t understand divorce. It simple does not compute with me. Which I suppose is a good thing. But I think it may have something to do with why I get so ticked off when I hear about the kind of crap that some kids had and have to deal with in a divorce. I just want to smack some parents upside the head, especially certain step-parents.<br /><br />Divorce happens. I get that. When my adoptive parents passed away a few years ago I thought that I was all that was left. The knowledge of knowing that there might still be someone out there from another family -- my own blood -- was almost bitter sweet. Needless to say it has been an overwhelming week.
