Enjoy your blog. Thanks for the link to the Babble article. That article, and the Times of London's recent article on Gen X, had me thinking about our generation's own often critical view of ourselves. We're a demanding lot, and we have a right to be, even if we know the deck is stacked against us.

As an aside, on page 5 of Susan Gregory Thomas' Babble article, it looks like the kid is sitting next to a mini-pinball game that I am convinced I owned as a youngster.

I also enjoyed reading the Courrier-Journal's article, but am I in the minority of Gen X'ers who find the late ’50s and early ’60s fascinating of late? I'm a big fan of "Mad Men," I can't wait to see (and read) Revolutionary Road, and I like hats (though the legend goes that JFK killed the hat tradition around this time by going mostly hatless as president).
