This blog is for and about Generation X.
We were born after the Baby Boomers and before the Millennials, between 1961 and 1981. Now, that you’ve found your generation, let’s stay in touch.
By the way, I’m Jennifer. I started this Gen X blog in 2008. Where have you been this whole time?
Motherhood is the greatest adventure and blessing of my life.
Thank you, God, for my beautiful children.
Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. (Psalm 127)
All that we did for love’s sake,
Is not wasted and will never fade.
From latchkey kids and children of divorce to the Challenger explosion and Berlin Wall, learn more about the historical events that shaped Gen-Xers.
Hello, I’m Jennifer, an American wife and mother. I’m a member of the 13th generation of Americans born between 1961 and 1981, Generation X. This blog is dedicated to exploring and understanding my lifelong journey as a Christian, first in the 20th Century, and now in the 21st. It’s also devoted to my beautiful family. The site has been featured in several news outlets including the National Associated Press, Good Housekeeping and the Washington Post. I’m grateful, and hope to publish a book someday. So far, it’s only taken me a decade to write three chapters. 😉
