I’ve been searching for my long lost friend Eddi, my best friend from 6th grade, for longer than I can remember. I spent one of the best nights of my life with Eddi. I was 11, she was 12, and it was Halloween night 1979. We roamed the streets of Ozark together, bounding frightened through the rural version of a haunted house. She was a ghost and instead of taking her sheet off to drink her orange Kool-aid, she drank it right through the fabric. I’ve been laughing about it ever since.
Tonight, I found my long-lost Eddi. I have performed this search at least 100 times since 2000. Tonight, I was successful. I used the following three Web sites to locate her:
INTELIUS.com
PEOPLEFINDERS.com
WHITEPAGES.com.
I used them in that order, which led me to her married name and finally to her address.
Wow. I now have Eddi’s address. I will write her a letter tomorrow. I will let you know if I hear back from her.
