These vintage plastic halloween masks were among the hallmarks of the Generation X Halloween experience. I just love this picture of “Kurt, Kent & Jim.”
As a few readers pointed out, some of the Halloween masks from the 60s, 70s and 80s were pretty scary, and it was usually the ones that weren’t intended to be! I think I’d rather look at a mask of a monster than some of the princess and Strawberry Shortcake masks.
