Introducing the Chevy Malibu for Gotta Love Chevy OK

Don’t hate me because I’m mawkishly sentimental.

I am happy and grateful to announce that I am part of the Gotta Love Chevy OKC Blogger Program. Starting Wednesday, I will be test driving a Chevy Malibu until mid-September and blogging independently about my experience.

I think this Chevy is especially Gen X given the fact Malibu Barbie® is an icon of the Generation X girlhood. Gen Xers, by broadest definition, were born between 1961 and 1981. Mattel issued Malibu Barbie® from 1971 to 1977. Production of the car, which took place (more or less) from 1964-82, encompassed these years. The Chevy Malibu is a Gen Xer! Who knew?

    Jen, Congrats on the test drive of your new car. I’m so jealous.

    You did a great job on the video. Your personality really shines through. I bet you are a great PR person, while still being real.
