We celebrated Christmas Eve with my mom today. Each time I visit her at her place, I take comfort in seeing all the things that are uniquely her, like this bejeweled container of crochet hooks. I’ve loved these things ever since I was a kid.
Here’s the jello Mom made us for dessert. I thought these desserts looked so festive I had to take a picture of them and share it with you!
Merry Christmas Eve! Santa comes tonight and I have three precious children who can’t wait to see what he’s going to bring. This truly is the happiest I have ever been in my entire life. My children are nestled all snug in their beds believing in Santa Claus and the Holy Child all at the same time. I can ask for nothing more, except maybe that they will always believe in such miracles.
Thanks, Le! I hope this Disqus comment program isn’t annoying. It’s so much easier to reply with this than with Blogger’s systems. We’ll see.
Merry Christmas! Every time my kids go to my moms I worry about them taking those needles and poking each others eyes out. =/
Your mom sounds wonderful. How precious of her to make such a beautiful dessert for her family. I love her crochet needles. I have to keep mine put up, way up. I’m so happy that you are happy. We are having a grateful Christmas too! Merry Christmas friend!
