Boy’s First Communion
We celebrated Sullivan’s First Communion on Sunday. I was so proud of him! He’s been looking forward to this all year.
At the end of the day, I tucked him in bed and I said, “You’re growing up so fast. You’re becoming a young man right before my eyes.” He quietly, gently disagreed. “Not fast. Slow.”
It made me so happy to hear this. I sang him a song I sang to him when he was a baby and he drifted off to sleep.
Here’s a popular song from the Baby Boomer generation about watching a little boy grow up: Watching Scotty Grow.
