I’ve thrown my share of big birthday parties, and I’ve stressed about it, too. Am I doing too much for my kids? Probably! I’m a Gen-Xer. We’re  killing off the NFL because we won’t let our boys play skull-crushing football. Now, Jezebel reports: We Are Creating A Generation of Monsters. At least I’ve never thrown a $20,000 birthday party.

Everywhere I turn cities are trying to make life sweet for the Millennial Generation, but Heather Pendergast is a Gen Xer who runs a community revitalization organization in Macon, Georgia, says Generation X is where it’s at.

Technology: I’m still not so sure about Google Glass, especially since I need actual glasses, which at 40-something is going to take some getting used to. But, I just love this photo so I had to embed this tweet. Besides, I agree with this. The Segway is fine for mall cops, but the mass market appeal tarnished a long time ago. It’s the same for Google Glass, I think.
