Dearest Mom,
Happy Mother’s Day, Momma. You were my mom and always will be.
And what a precious mom you were. It was so sweet coming to your place in the evenings. I marveled at how you sat in your chair and rolled your hair. At 83, you still wanted to look pretty and special. You were so pretty and special, Mom.
You were a godly mother and I thank you for praying for me and teaching me about Jesus. Look at your legacy in my Mother’s Day card from young Sullivan, 12. His message to me on this beautiful day was so unexpected. God speaks through him, Mom, just like He spoke through you.
To the Lord, a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day. (2 Peter 3:8) I pray your thousand-year long days are full of joy and happiness, Mom. I know they are. Thank you for your intercession for me and Linda and Becky and Billy. You carried us in the beginning, and now that we are all getting old, you’re still carrying us, our blessed mother.
Happy Mother’s Day!
