Dear Friends,
The most amazing thing happened to me on November 28. At the ripe old age of 51, I became a grandmother. My firstborn daughter Juliette gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Willow Martin Wareham was named for my late mother, Barbara Martin Elliott. Willow is a member of the Homeland Generation, Generation Z.

My first grandbaby!! Willow Martin Wareham, named for my late mother, Barbara Martin Elliott. Thank you Juliette and Justin for bringing this beautiful child into our lives. @jueyjames
Congratulations to Juliette and Justin, and many thanks to our Lord for the safe arrival of baby. I’m so happy to be a grandma!!
When Juliette was a baby and learning to talk she would say Nanny for Grandma. So, my mom just became Nanny and that’s all Juliette ever called her. It was so sweet. Now, Juliette wants Willow to call me Nanny-Jenny. I love that so much. But, if she wants to call me Granny-Jenny, that’s OK, too. =)

Tomorrow I will hold my first grandbaby. I think it’s going to be the best day of my life.
Some Bonus Christmas Links
Yesterday was Day One of the Immaculate Conception Novena. These are always wonderful prayer experiences for me, and powerful resources for my life. Check it out! Also, you might considering signing up for the Pray More Novena’s Advent Retreat. The speakers and presentations are going to be great. Check out the video below for more information.
I hope your Christmas season is off to a great start. We are looking forward to a Christmas parade on Saturday. Bridgette is marching with her baton, and Sullivan is escorting her on his hoverboard with a sign that says, “Bridgy Twirls Baton!” (Or something like that.) I’m under the weather and hope I can pull it all together enough to get there!
As always, thanks for reading the blog. –jennifer (Grandma Jennifer)
